John Chisum is a seasoned artist with deep roots in Christian music. His journey in Nashville began with nearly twenty recorded songs in his first year, a feat that quickly earned him a position as a publisher for legendary figures Bill and Gloria Gaither. His influence grew as he became the VP of Publishing for Star Song Media and later Integrity Music, where he managed the works of beloved worship songwriters like Paul Baloche and Don Moen, among others. With over 400 compositions to his name, Chisum has also led worship worldwide, contributed to dozens of recordings, and featured as a worship leader on two Integrity Hosanna! Music albums, making him a beloved figure in global worship circles.
The upcoming single, "OMG (Oh My God)," is a compelling fusion of heartfelt lyrics and engaging pop soundscapes. Co-written by Bonnie Barbey and John Chisum, and produced by Sam Hart of Curb|Word Entertainment, the track is a poignant blend of desperation and hope. Mirroring the raw emotions found in the Biblical psalms, the song acknowledges life's challenges while simultaneously affirming God's steadfast presence in the midst of them. Chisum's signature smooth vocals, wrapped in a contemporary CCM groove, make this track both profound and accessible.
Following the release of "OMG (Oh My God)," Chisum will unveil his full-length debut album, Nothing But the Grace, on September 27. The album features 12 powerful tracks, including previously released songs that have already resonated deeply with listeners. Nothing But the Grace showcases Chisum's masterful songwriting and worship-leading abilities, offering a diverse collection of songs that reflect his journey of faith and God's unending grace.

John Chisum is not a newcomer to making great Christian music. His first year in Nashville garnered nearly twenty recorded songs as a new songwriter, landing him a job as a publisher for the iconic likes of Bill and Gloria Gaither. Growing up to become VP of Publishing for Star Song Media and then Integrity Music, John managed the publishing of the much-loved worship songwriters Paul Baloche, Don Moen, and many other notables, all while penning and publishing over 400 of his own compositions.
