Are you willing to live beyond yourself? Whenever you rebuild something, you first assess the damage. But when your walls are down, anything can breach your city limits. You’re an open field, defenseless, where distractions and past failures have accessed you so long that they’ve broken your rhythm. God wants you to know that you can rebuild from burned stones. You can dwell in a place made beautiful, even from ruins. That's what Nehemiah did in 2:1-10 of his namesake book, but don’t miss this part: The provision for his vision came only when he started living bigger than himself.
