This song “You Give Me Peace” ministers to the listeners' heart and allows them to find reassurance that God will be with them in any situation they encounter. “I want to bring glory to God by creating a sound that penetrates the heart and ears of every listener.” states Gerwin.

BIOGRAPHY
Gerwin Holland is a passionate, Holy Spirit-filled servant of God. He was born and bred in Fort Worth, Texas. He comes from a generation of talented musicians and singers. His earliest musical influences are his father and mother who served as musicians in the church founded and pastored by his grandfather Pastor A. W. Holland.
Gerwin’s passion for music was further stoked during his early years of playing drums and singing in the church’s youth choirs. At this age, his musical skills began to flourish under the leadership of his late uncle, Pastor Ronald Holland. He later attended O.D. Wyatt High School and gained further musical tutelage under the great Ms. Jewel Kelly. It was during these years performing with the Singing Chaparrals that he won multiple awards.
This passion for music propelled Gerwin to found and direct a gospel choir at Tarrant County College, sing and play for the Voices of Praise at the University of North Texas (Denton) and eventually after graduation, moved to Austin, TX and served as a Minister of Music for several ministries. This provided him the opportunity to meet and work with many local artists and singing groups.
Gerwin expresses his love for God through singing, songwriting, arranging, and playing his favorite instruments—the drums, piano, and organ. He contributes his musical influence and style to artists he grew up listening to such as The Winans, Commission, Pastor John P. Kee, Fred Hammond, BeBe and CeCe Winans, The Clark Sisters, Kirk Franklin and the Family, Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City, and Richard Small and Vision.
He currently resides in San Antonio and enjoys spending quality time with his beautiful wife, Kimberly.
