Vocalist and worship leader Jeremy Rosado has been chosen to audition on NBC's The Voice, which starts their 21st season Monday night, September 20th, 2021 at 8/7c.
Jeremy first appeared on the national scene as a contestant on American Idol (Season 11), being a roommate with Colton Dixon and reaching the top 12 position on the show. Jeremy was a favorite of Jennifer Lopez who said, "Jeremy has one of the most beautiful voices I've heard."
Since American Idol, Jeremy has been recording, leading worship at his church, and doing select shows, of which he is known for his Christmas appearances where he has collaborated with other American Idol finalists such as Jessica Sanchez.
In 2013, Jeremy released his first solo single "Don't Be Afraid" with good friend Pablo Villatoro, formerly of Group 1 Crew. He followed that with the full-length album Heartbeat, and the Rewind EP that reached #9 on Apple Music's Christian & Gospel chart. Most recently in 2020, Save the City Records released another EP for Jeremy simply entitled You containing a combination of pop and worship tracks. Jeremy also recently worked with the music app startup Pitch Studio, which turns Jeremy into an intelligent assistant to teach you his song lyrics.
Jeremy says of his appearance, "Do you think I can get a chair to turn?"
We'll be sure to update you on Jeremy's progress on this season of The Voice!
