Recently, Centricty Music artist Jason Gray partnered with radio station 94 FM The Fish to benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission!
Jason says on his Instagram:
"Grateful to get to be on air with @thefishnashville as part of their drive to raise money for 18,000 meals for the @nashvillerescue mission!
$2.50 pays for someone's meal, and opens the door for life-changing help (rehabilitation, counseling, etc.) to those who've fallen on hard times, which is a lot of people in 2020.
I take Jesus at his word when he says that what we do for 'the least of these'--the poor, the vulnerable--we do unto him. I've always understood caring for the down and out as my most significant worship.
I felt lucky to be there today and get to be a small part of this great big work!
This is a good year to give to your local mission, there are a lot of people in need. You can also give to the Nashville rescue mission at their website if you'd like to be a part of their ambitious goal to feed 18,000 people! Five dollars is two meals :-)
